The Objective
Deliver a fully branded interior aligned with Dave’s established visual language—while introducing localized cultural references relevant to Port Hueneme’s strong Navy presence.
Brand + Local Integration
Incorporated Navy-inspired elements (including a Dave’s character reimagined as a naval commander), 60s/70s pop aesthetics, and playful copy-driven murals (“Less Talk, More Dave’s,” “All You Need Is Dave’s,” etc.) to keep the space recognizable yet unique to its coastal military setting.
A franchise interior built within strict corporate parameters—customized to reflect local identity without breaking brand consistency.
Graphic Impact + Playful Imagery
Executed large-scale doodles, bold color blocking, emoji-style iconography, parachuting sliders, and layered typography—maintaining the energetic, youth-driven feel the brand is known for.
Execution Under Constraints
Completed on-site within a three-week opening window, coordinating with franchise ownership and corporate brand guidelines during COVID-era restrictions. Travel-based install, assistant coordination, and strict compliance with brand standards ensured a smooth and professional delivery.
